MILLWALL FC

2000 - 2001

I support Millwall FC. I have supported them from a young age when my Dad took me to a game for the first time at the Old Den against Sheffield United. The atmosphere took my breath away and I was totally hooked. At the old den, which was in Cold Blow Lane New Cross SE London was such an intimidating place for visiting teams to come that the Millwall fans Were so loud and ammoniated that it was like a one goal advantage to Millwall before the ball was even kicked !!!

click here to see some pictures of the Old Den and fans ect .

The 3 pictures above are of Millwall F.C fans at Wembley in the AWS cup final against Wigan Athletic F.C. Millwall lost 1-0 to a last minute goal. Their were 50,000 Millwall fans at wembley that day  in april 1999. Me and my dad were so proud to be there and the Millwall fans were fantastic, they nearly raised the roof , the singing was that loud. Me and my dad nearly lost our voices we sang so much!!!

In 1993 Millwall closed their ground and moved to Bermondsey Zampa Rd to the New Den a 20,500 all seater Stadium which is very impressive and modern stadium you can see the stadium in the back ground of the team photo above Below is some profiles of some of the players Neil Harris is the first and one of my favourite strikers at the club his nickname is Bomber Harris .
