My name is Stephen wicks. I am 15 years old and I live in Lewisham. I have 2 brother who are younger than me .
The things I like doing are playing games with my brothers, playing computer games, listening to music and watching television
My trip to France
This is about my trip to France in February last year
we had to get up by 5a.m to catch the ferry .
my Dad was the first up so he made breakfast for us .
at 6 am we all got in to the car
we were all really tired so we did not say much.
At 8 am we got to Dover we drove into the place were the ferry was .
My mum was worried that the ferry would not go because of the bad
weather. I though she was wrong so I was shocked when a policeman
said that the ferry was not going.

We went to France 2 weeks after that because we could still use the tickets that we had .
we got a later ferry so we did not have to wake up so early . we enjoyed being on the
ferry . When we got to France we had to drive around Calais to find a place to park
when we parked the car we walked up the street and my dad asked someone for directions
but could not understand English so he asked someone else and he gave my dad directions.
Then we want to a park and we had sandwiches and drinks. Then we went to a shop and we
brought sweets and we went to a museum which was near the park.
Then we looked around Calais For a few hours.
Then we went to a hypermarket in the car, and we brought some chocolates and sweets and my parents brought some bottles of wines and some cans or beer. We then went to a McDonalds restaurant and we had a meal there. It was then time to go home so we drove to the ferry and we went on the ferry. while we where there, we looked at the sea and had sandwiches. we also brought things from the shops on the ferry.
The ferry arrived in Dover at 6 pm and we came home at 8 pm.
This summer ( July 2000) we went to France for a week. We stayed in a cottage in a small village.
